چکیده
With the launch of Landsat-9 on 27 September 2021, Landsat continues its fifty-year continuity mission providing users with calibrated Earth observations. It has become a requirement that an underflight experiment be performed during commissioning to support sensor cross-calibration. In this most recent experiment, flew under Landsat-8 for nearly three days over 50% ground overlap, from 13 15 November 2021. Continuity of Reflectance Data between Landsat-7 ETM+ and Landsat-8 OLI, for Both Top-of-Atmosphere and Surface Reflectance: A Study in the Australian Landscape
The new Landsat-8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) is intended to be broadly compatible with the previous Landsat-7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+). The spectral response of the OLI is slightly different to the ETM+, and so there may be slight differences in the reflectance measurements. Since the differences are a function not just of spectral responses, but also of the target pixels, there ...
متن کاملComparing Sentinel-2A and Landsat 7 and 8 Using Surface Reflectance over Australia
The new Sentinel-2 Multi Spectral Imager instrument has a set of bands with very similar spectral windows to the main bands of the Landsat Thematic Mapper family of instruments. While these should, in principle, give broadly comparable measurements, any differences are a function not only of the differences in the sensor responses, but also of the spectral characteristics of the target pixels. ...
متن کاملEstimating Land Surface Temperature in the Central Part of Isfahan Province Based on Landsat-8 Data Using Split- Window Algorithm
Land surface temperature (LST) is used as one of the key sources to study land surface processes such as evapotranspiration, development of indexes, air temperature modeling and climate change. Remote sensing data offer the possibility of estimating LST all over the world with high temporal and spatial resolution. Landsat-8, which has two thermal infrared channels, provides an opportunity for t...
متن کاملconstruction and validation of the translation teacher competency test and the scale of students’ perceptions of translation teachers
the major purpose of this study was to develop the translation teacher competency test (ttct) and examine its construct and predictive validity. the present study was conducted in two phases: a qualitative phase as well as a quantitative phase. in the first phase of the study, the author attempted to find out the major areas of competency required for an academic translation teacher. the second...
